I decided to purchase this after reading reviews from other users. They said that it dried their hair and straightened like it should. I have curly hair that straightens fairly easily. If I use this on my towel dried hair it only straightens it after going over it a few times. For me, it really doesn't work well from wet to straight, however it works okay, just okay, on my curly hair when it's dry.
No, I do not recommend this product.

It's not a straightener/curling iron. I guess it could kind of curl the ends if you angle your wrist right.
